Heavenly Treasures Thrift Store – This is our church sponsored thrift store located at 24303 Narbonne Avenue in Lomita. Not only does this store help the community with very reasonably priced items, but it also provides for urgent needs and prayer if you visit and share your burden with store management anytime it is open or with a pastor of this church.
Early Morning Prayer - Prayer cannot be over estimated. Each morning throughout the week our church is open to the neighborhood for a special time of prayer. All are welcome. Can we pray for you? Please contact a Pastor if you have a need you would like to make known to the church.
Mission Outreach - King’s Way is a part of spreading the Gospel by financially supporting various missionaries.
Music - Parishioners are welcome to discuss getting involved in our music ministry or just be blessed by listening. If you sing or play an instrument please let our worship chairman know. Ask a pastor if you don’t know who that is and you want to talk to that person. Volunteers using their talents and gifts to glorify God are an important part of our music ministry.
Ushers - The ushers fill an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring order in the building during services, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free.
Youth Ministry - Our youth are the future of this church. Providing solid Christian teaching is a key element in the spiritual development of all students. The King’s Way Community Church Student Ministry provides this teaching Sunday at 8:30AM. We also fellowship every Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM and start worship and teaching at 7:15. We schedule Christ centered activities and youth camps that build up the youth spiritually and bond them together in the Lord.
Children’s Ministry - On Sunday at 8:30AM, King’s Way community has a Sunday School for all ages of children that uses a curriculum that is matched to the youth and adult classes. We also hold a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service on Sundays. Kids are given an opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that is suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity.
Senior Ministry - Our Senior Citizen ministry is one of our most precious opportunities to minister to a generation that has done so much for "The Church" and our country. They meet weekly for game time and have access to their own pastor.
Food Pantry - We have a food pantry available to those in need. Please contact a pastor if your family is struggling to put food on the table and we will try to meet your immediate need.
DMV Ministry -We have a local ministry in the DMV that hands out Christian material and leads those who are willing to listen to the Lord.
WHERE CAN I SERVE? - Jesus told us to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of King’s Way Community Church is our mission to the world.
